managing my day

it was an interesting but tiring day for me.

i went through the eswl procedure today and mum didn't know about it. i didn't want her to worry or worst still, go all mentally haywire. and so, i left the house early in my work attire and brought along a change of clothes. drove my car to the basement, did a superman (change in my car), kept my work stuff in the car before heading off to the hospital.

thankfully, the procedure ended by about 10-ish and i could answer her routine call during lunchtime. bee came to pick me up after the whole procedure and we headed to lunch before i came home and hit the bed. it was close to 2.30pm and my body was totally incapable of anything. had another round of diarrhoea and i was just too drained after that. took a quick nap and woke up by 3pm. felt much better and quickly left home again. didn't want to have mum coming home to find me in bed.

had a good afternoon coffee before heading home at 4.30pm. told mum i had a meeting that ended early and so i decided to head home instead of back to the office. she seemed ok and didn't suspect anything. and she seemed pretty happy when i brought her out for dinner and a round of shopping before returning about 9.30pm. thankfully my body held up.

am feeling tired and a little feverish now. been a long and tiring day.

good night!
