i had been briefed that after the eswl procedure, i would pass out the stone fragments shortly, within a day or two. but the immediate passing of blood after the procedure really made me rather scared to look at my own urine. and apart from the gradual lightening of my urine, i did not really notice any stone fragments being ejected. but i believe it started last night cos it felt a little gritty when i peed. and this morning, it felt the same and i decided to do what was most logical to me - i inserted my hand into the toilet bowl to feel the base. and yes, it felt sandy and my conclusion was that the stone fragments had started coming out of my bladder.
and the next time i felt the urge to pee, i decided to use a sift to sift my urine. and guess what? once i peed, a piece of stone fragment came out! and as i continued, a few other small ones came out too. i felt so relieved by it. the experience reminded me of what i went through 2 years ago and it felt good. and thought i'd take a photo of the fragments. shortly after that, i felt the urge to pee again! and this time round, a few other relatively large fragments came out too! wow! what a harvest!
well, i know it sounded kinda weird and gross, but i had a good morning collecting all these stone fragments. the largest measured about 3mm, probably accounting for half the stone. and for the rest of the day, i continued drowning myself with lots of water. but there was no further stone fragments ejected. i supposed all of it had come out.
