well, i was at the market over this morning and bought a folding clothes dryer rack. and instead of the usual cheap version that most people buy, i decided to get the more expensive aluminium light weight version. i left the shop carrying the rack.
and as i walked by the hawker center, i noticed a table, where about 5-6 maids were having their breakfast, staring at me. and the interesting thing about this was that the whole hawker centre was crowded and there were lots of people eating their breakfast. but for some reasons, only that table of maids stared out at me. not the others. i could imagine them talking about the rack and how it would help them dry their wet laundry! haha...
well, i supposed the rack i had in my hands was something that they could all identify with and chat about. and perhaps they were awed by the sturdiness of the aluminium frame of the rack, etc. heh heh... and in a way, it was no different from people of a particular interest group gathering to chat about something close to their heart, such as airplane enthusiasts talking about airplanes when they see one fly pass them. i simply walked on...
