bad customership

was at the samsung service center to purchase the remote control for my tv and observed some very rude customers.

one of them was there to seek help for his tablet. his main complain was that he cannot hear the caller when someone calls in. once the issue was solved, he highlighted another issue. well, there's nothing wrong with all these but it was how he did it. he was rude and literally talked down onto the service staff. and the new issue that was highlighted was, in my opinion, not necessarily the tablet problem.

he went something like, loudly and rudely - my skype cannot use! how come like that!?!? how come like that?!?!

i thought the service staff handled the customer well. he did not show any negative emotions but smile and simply asked the man to activate the app (skype), and then he took the tablet and went to the back room to do some tests with it. when i left the place, the service staff was still trying to diagnose the issue. i don't envy the service staff. these days, they not only have to solve technical issues, but will also need to know common apps that people use in order to resolve issues.

i strongly think that, to get good service, the customer must also play his part and behave respectfully.

sighs.
