i have previously looked badly at people who outwardly show any form of negative behaviour towards their elderly parents. but having been put in this position now, i am beginning to better appreciate what a primary caregiver of an elderly have to go through.
it's not that i condone such behaviours, but i am now a little more understanding and will surely be less judgmental about people when and if i encounter such incidents. and I feel strongly that there must be better structures and assistance in the community to help primary caregivers of elderly people.

Yes, caregiving especially for the aged is very demanding. If one is not in that position, it's hard to understand what a caregiver is going through. You really won't have time for yourself if there is no support.
Caring for my children is a much easier job.
Hi ladybird, thanks for the encouraging words.
