if the past two days were a reflection of the next few weeks, i'll probably be bored to death. all courses that my college conducts have ended. things are quiet without the students. and from next week, most of my colleagues will be clearing their leave and heading overseas for their year end holidays. for me, i will most probably be at work blasting my computer keyboard away. have been given the task to get the training management plan out. need to do it before the next course starts in jan 09 cos once it starts, i will be fully engaged with my students.
i have also started reflecting about my life in 2008. and as it stands, i still cannot find a good descriptor that can aptly describe it. all i know was that this year, family-wise, it couldn't be worst - my dad passed away, my mum got very much weaker, i came out to my brother, my brother `disowned' me, my eldest sister stopped talking to me, and so on... personal/ work life was however much better - i graduated with a masters degree, i got my job extended, i have also made a couple of good friends (although many have also faded away)... 3 more months to go before the rat makes way for the cow (or buffalo... watever).
as the prediction goes, the year of the rat will be a challenging one for me. i can now see why. 3 more months to go. let's see how much more challenging this rat year will be for me. as it stands, all predictions point to a better year ahead and i really look forward to it.
