as at lunchtime, mum had been transfused with 1 pint of blood and half of the second pint. was told she would be given a total of 3 pints. had also received a call from the doctor asking me to give consent for her to be scoped. apparently, it seemed like my mum was against the idea of scoping when it was told to her this morning. but when i visited her, she readily agreed. with the blood transfusion going on, her face was a bit more rosy and lively (although still cannot move).
and as i am typing this post, she is undergoing the scope. was told she would be under some mild sedation and that they would scope her stomach and a small portion of her small intestines. results expected later this evening.
