it was certainly not very assuring for patients and families alike to see a doctor doing some checks in wikipedia for some whatever symptoms while he makes his rounds. but that was exactly what i witnessed when i visited my mum at the hospital two days back...
anyway, i visited my mum today and was told that she might be able to eat porridge from tomorrow. also, the tube that was inserted thru her nostril into her stomach for tube-feeding could possibly be removed tomorrow given that she is responding well to her medications. nonetheless, she was still a little confused and kept thinking that she was at home. but it was clear that the possibility of having the tube removed had certainly cheered her up. and she was telling me that she might be going home very soon.
i was so happy to see her so cheerful.
