"par-parrr"

my most adorable nephew has picked up quite a few words over the past couple of months.

and given his abilities to only articulate the last syllabus of whatever words he has learned, it can be rather challenging to decipher what he was actually trying to tell us. for example, the chinese word for "room" (房间) is pronounced as "fáng jiān". but to him, he will simply go "jiān" and he would repeat it a few times to me as he tries to get me to head to the room (the usual place where i would play games with him).

also, he loves cars and has this habit to associate colour with people. for example, he would call all dark blue/ black car "pork pork" (i.e. me) as i drive a dark blue car. and funnily, he would call all blue taxis "par-parrr" as my brother drives a blue coloured taxi. so... you can imagine him going "par-parrr" again and again whenever he sees a blue cab driving by on the road.

lol!
