chim reflection but it came when i saw a man walk his black shih-tzu this morning. yes, the man was walking his dog. but the man couldn't appreciate the dog's nature and pulled his dog hard (to the point of choking?) whenever the dog tried to stop to take a sniff. darned! obviously, the man, being a dog lover presumably, didn't understand that to a dog, sniffing is in its nature. to us human beings, seeing would probably account for 70-90% of our sense-making of our world, but to a dog whose eyes are not as well developed as us, smelling is a huge huge part of how they sense-make their world! i don't think the man realize that a dog's sense of smell is many many times more developed than him!
i didn't know whether to pity the dog or to be angry with the man. then again, that's a lot of reflections based on one momentary sighting as i waited for the traffic light to turn green...
i think too much!
happy weekend!
