my new fridge

two days ago, i poured myself a cup of water from the fridge to drink. and as i drank, i wondered why the water didn't feel as cold as it usually did. i thought it was just me being too thirsty and dismissed the thought. then some time later, bee gave me the same feedback. this time round, i did a check on the fridge and found that indeed the interior was not as cold. and despite turning the controls to the coldest, i couldn't get the fridge to cool down.

decided to buy a new fridge.

rather and interesting process. gotta check the power consumption, where the engine come from, which country was it assembled, la la la... and finally decided on a rather nice stainless steel model. the frige came in about half an hour ago. and after the movers installed it, i started to move my stuff in. and to my horrors, i realized that my freezer door couldn't open fully because of obstructions from my kitchen door and my wall. and even if i close my kitchen door, i still could not open the door fully! missed by a cm or so. arghhhhhhhhhhhhh... but hmmm, i guessed i will have to just accept it and move on. no need to fuss about it. very small matter.
