i was ordered by my doctor in mar 10 to undergo a blood test before i see him again in early aug 10. it is my regular cholesterol level check as well as my hepatitis b immunity test. and after delaying it on and on, i finally made my way down this morning. i looked at the slip, it said no need to fast. and so, happily i went for my breakfast before heading to the polyclinic. i waited for a good hour plus before my number was called. and the lady took my blood test order sheet and asked if i have fasted. i said no. and she said i could not do the whole test today. i was puzzled. then she show me the blood test order sheet. i had missed a second blood test sheet below. for that one, i need to fast.
haiz... in the end, i decided i would just proceed to do one first. and then go back for the other fasting one another day.
