T’s condition continues to deteriorate.
We were told he could pass away any time. Seeing him suffer, I believe we have all reached a point where we simply wish for him to go peacefully. Nonetheless, I can sense that D is still grappling with the impending loss. It was most evident when D mentioned that T wants to visit certain places, and he sighed as he shared this. Earlier, I had a brief chat with D and shared that even as we begin to grief the impending departure, we should also appreciate the good times spent with T, the camaraderie and the times spent supporting each.
