"a dot" did not mean we have achieved what we had hoped for. nonetheless, it was significant. it was a defining moment. liberating. and certainly, something that we can all be proud of. and to me, it also marked the start of a beautiful picture. just as all fires start with a spark, all beautiful pictures start with "a dot". and i am sure the picture drawn with colours of the rainbow will be a beautiful one.
i have previously posted the story of "the dot & the line". and looking at it again, i couldn't help but think about "the line" that was recently so heatedly debated and "the dot" that was celebrated over the weekend! but of cos, the context of the story was different... then again, how wonderful it would be if "the line" could ever love the "the dot", or at least, accept "the dot"...
:-)
