woke up this morning and got a shock... 27 missed calls!
it was from a private number! it could only be from my mum or my bro (my bro's hp and home numbers are all `private'). i got worried. could something have happened to my mum? i called my bro's home. no one answered the phone. called again. same. no answers. and so i decided to try calling my mum's hp number. something that i seldom do cos my mum would keep it switched off most of the time (she took over my dad's hp after his passing away)... it rang! rang a couple of times and someone picked up the call. after a momentary silence, "harlo?!" the domestic helper went. yes, this time, i got real worried. why did my mum not answer the phone? i asked for my mum. "okey sir, please waitta mohment..." and my mum came to the line.
what big sigh of relief! confirmed that she was the one who called. and when asked why she called - oh, i just wanted to tell you not to visit me so early as the maid will be bringing me to the market... !!!
