this year's 端午节 tuan wu jie falls on 28 may. and it is still within the 1-year period of my dad's demise. as such, i am not supposed to prepare bak changs (dumplings) like i did in previous years. understand from my mum last week that i should not do it is becos tying the dumplings is akin to tying my dad's heart...
hmmm. such another superstitions. anyway, i shan't do it out of respect for my dad. not becos of any reasons, superstitious or otherwise.
