whew! false alarm

my chest felt tight and occasionally painful over the last few days. today, it was so painful i couldn't really breath. i decided to pay a visit to the hospital accident & emergency department and was actually quite pleased with their sense of urgency. 

once i arrived, i was quickly tagged and send to the room to have an ecg done. and then i was send to the triage and before i knew it, i was called in to the doctor's room. after asking some questions, he concluded that it was likely due to strained muscle and not a heart attack per se. nonetheless, he ordered the usual blood test, x-ray and i was given some muscle relaxant.

the whole procedure lasted less than 2 hours before i was allowed to leave. been referred to a respiratory specialist to ascertain if there are any issues with my lungs.
