i am considering driving my mum up to cameron highlands sometime soon. good to take a break and also to give her a chance to leave the country. and hopefully this trip can refresh her (and i) a bit.
previously had considered countries like australia, new zealand, taiwan... but i think it would be very tricky to (1) bring her up the airplane given that she is wheelchair bound, (2) bring her out for more than say 2-3 days given that i have to carry along enough adult diapers to last the duration, (3) transfer her from point-to-point especially when i have to rely on transport other than my own... so... going up north would probably be the only option as i can pack my needs into my car. or unless i outsource all the logistics, which i am not about to do. the few risks i have to take include (1) risking my car getting broken in again, (2) my car getting stolen (if people are desperate enough, an old car like mine would also jadi, (3) my car breaks down (speaking of which, i better send for servicing before the trip), (4) my mum's medical condition works up during the trip, (5) anything untoward were to happen to me and there's no one to look after my mum... hmmm...
well, going up north is probably the only viable option after balancing out the risks. and certainly, with a wheelchair and lots of other thing to carry along, a place that is not too crowded and cool would be useful. so... looks like cameron is the only option... and what better time than to do it after i throw my letter and clear my leave!
yoohoooo!
yeah. welcome to pahang-perak state. enjoy the breeze!!!
