cranky mum again

i have technically ran out of adjectives to title my posts when i want to blog about my mum going cranky. and so, i am titling this post "cranky mum again". and at the rate she's turning cranky, i think in time to come, i can possibly end up with a title that sounds like this - "cranky mum again, and again, and again..." lol!

haha... ok, this is the latest twist in events. yesterday i came home to change during the day before heading out for an interview. and i left my laptop at home.  as i drove, i was worried that when mum return from the rehab, she would freak out when she sees my laptop at home (and her mind would go wild about why it is there). and so, i decided to give her a call to tell her so... when i returned that evening, she seemed a little tak center. and then i got a long sms from my sis. apparently when mum came home, she saw the laptop and called my sis. she insisted that i had gone over to bee's place (supposedly to plan to kill her). i asked her about it and she vehemently denied ever calling sis and asking her so... i decided not to pursue further. 

today was a busy day for me. since morning, i was busy with work and mum lied on the sofa whole day. need to settle some work and sent out my resumes too before meeting my sis for dinner (she had planned to buy mum dinner today). and out of no where, she wanted to cook porridge for dinner. and when i questioned her if she was hungry, she (half scream) out and said - "i don't want to eat what the ccb [go figure that this term is, it is crude and not nice] buy later"... hmmm... i queried why she called sis ccb. she kept quiet and just walked to the sofa and lie down again... well, she's behaving weird again... i supposed she's angry that my sis told me what she said yesterday...

lessons learnt - (1) in future, if i come home in the day, i should not leave any tell tale signs. mum's mental capacity is non-existent when it comes to handling anything out of the norm. (2) to just ignore everything she tells my sis...

ps: thankfully, my sis called up and said she need to change the dinner to another day...
