red t-shirt

mum told me that her office (read - rehab center) had asked her to dressed in red top, white pants and that they must wear make-up tomorrow. it must definitely be for the national day celebrations, i thought. and she went on and on about how they had reminded her a couple of times up till the time she arrived home. and she added that the old bibik that usually chit chat with her asked her not to bother and just go in red t-shirt. they apparently did not know what's with all the fuss etc.

well, i told her it was for national day... she didn't seem to care. and after dinner, i bought her a simple giordano i love singapore t-shirt. despite her insistence that i should not waste money, it was so obvious she was very excited and pleased that she will be able to dress up for the occasion. and she went on-and-on about how the staff there would tease her about it...

heh heh... it's nice to see her happy.
