ever noticed how most people look towards the sky (upwards) when they pray? is god up there? or is there just space up there? or should people look into their heart instead? one wise line i heard in a recent retreat is that when we look for god outside ourselves, we tend to end up in conflicts. instead, when we look inwards, we can then begin the process of achieving lasting peace.
