he was in hospital when she slipped away at home 2 days ago. so quietly she lied there awaiting his visit. and this evening, when i saw him walked in finally, i felt his pain. my heart ached badly. inside, i whispered silently - she has led a full life. and she is at peace now. for that, let's celebrate her life. but involuntarily, my eyes welled with tears.
rest in peace, madam.

Yes, I feel sorry for the Lee family's loss. But to have civil servants line up the street is terrible. That's like when a communist dictator dies and everyone is forced to cry in public, like North Korea. It would have been better if the public had reacted the way the British public did when Princess Diana died. Spontateous and not told via a memo to line the street. How sad indeed!
well, i shan't comment on your line for i do not know if this is indeed the case. if indeed there was a memo, i would certainly like to see the content of the memo before i make any judgment.
for me personally, i would personally be very happy if my company had taken the initiative to allow me to line up the street.
thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
