good meeting

it was another good and fabulous meeting today. remember i wrote sometime back about me taking over the secretaryship of a series of meetings? well, today, it was a top management meeting chaired by my big bossman and it involved all head of business units. and there were 2 items in the meeting and both were from me. following my recent meeting, i had reviewed my presentation, rescope them, and updated my slides with all the key things that my big bossman wanted. needless to day, i was worried there might be some controvery and that the discussion would drag but... wow... not only was there no heated argument (as was always the case), my big bossman also stood strongly behind me through my 2 presentations. every point i made, he reinforced. every point that needed to be elaborated, he came in and we seemed to synchronize very well. and in the end, everything just fell into place without having me to even try to justify anything myself!

my staff and i were all so happy. even those old birds said it was something of a miracle it went so smooth. heh heh... to me, it was a tiring, but very fruitful day. the challenge now is to push on and make it happen!
