this week, i got to know a new friend. well ok, not exactly "got to know" per se. we actually introduced ourselves some time back. but since i started work, we had not had the chance to meet. until this week. his name is jason.
he used to swim at the pool i frequent and often after his swim he would head to the wading pool to relax, and to tan. and that was how our path crossed cos i usually tan at the wading pool. about my height and lean. and rather ambiguous in terms of his sexuality i must say (or perhaps my gaydar was not really working well these days). he spotted a very straight-looking hair style, walked normally, behaved normally... on the whole, just very normal, very straight normal. so much so that some of my pool friends thought he was straight, and some insisted he must be straight cos he did not look at people the way many gay men would. it was only after several meeting that we finally broke the ice. and if i recalled correctly, it was when i was walking out after changing up that we finally spoke. and that was how i got to know him. that was probably 3-4 months ago.
anyway, to cut the long story short, we did not see each other again after i started work. so, this week, it was nice to see him and we exchanged number. and that was how we maintained contact. he is now in my facebook friend list too. heh heh...
