sitting-up

today, i managed to finally sit up and walk a few steps at a time. and it felt good. had been sleeping since two night ago... well, of cos the sleep was intermittently interrupted by meals and medication. the pain is now much much manageable other than the very `sng' (or achy) feeling at my lower back after walking a few steps. heh heh, i think i looked like a old old man walking in the park... step by step, hands holding onto whatever support i can grab as i walk... and of cos, bee bee has been very sweet these couple of days nursing me, making breakfast for me, buying meals for me, getting me my medications etc.

:-)

ps: one of the side effects of the strong painkiller i am taking is gastric pain and it can be really excruciating at times! think i'll start to wean myself off the painkiller tonight!

More rest is what you need now. If you have the gastric issue, should take both gastric and painkiller medication together. Ask your doc for the prescription. This often happens to Senior Citizens....Oh Oops =) Glad that you are better now. With tender, love and care from your love, you will be back in one piece soon!

hey aziz, thanks. i'll rest as much as i can for now. perhaps consider acupuncture in due course. but definitely not the cha-quat type. enough of it for the time being :)

hi gav, yes, i think so too. did not get any significant gastric pain last night after not taking the painkiller. should be on the road to recovery :) and yes, u are rite, the medication i got was exactly the same as that of my mum... senior citizen alright :)
