it was good to see the whole stadium turned red again last evening.
but it was not due to the fact that national day is round the corner. rather, it was due to liverpool playing a game against the singapore national team. and i believe the whole stadium was there to cheer their football team on, not their national team. so, for once in a rare blue moon, singapore fans turned up to cheer another team instead. and i can imagine the go go go torres! and the booooo... (whoever the singapore players were)... hmmm.
:-)
ps: and for the record, i was driving to town at abt 6pm and i find it absolutely absolutely fucking irritating to be tailgated (when i was already driving at 100 plus km/hr) by another car driven by 2 liverpool fans. or for that matter, the whole road seemed to be full of liverpool fans in red adidas t-shirts. frankly, i think the commonness in dressing made them looked really clonish. and for reasons best known to themselves, most of the fans i saw driving on the roads were either malays or indians. and the same tailgating happened when i drove home at about 10pm! wtf!
