obsessed

just watched obsessed (see synopsis) with damien earlier on. well, it was a rather nice no-brainer show. the kind that is best watched when one wants to not think too deep and just blank off. the show has a rather expected plot and its fair share of intense moments too. it was the typical "girl obsessed with married man, girl stalks man, man resists but wife finds out nonetheless, man and wife quarrel, man and wife separate temporarily, man and wife reconcile, girl continues stalking, girl goes to man's house when wife goes out, wife comes home, cat fight, struggle, bang, pow, wham, more cat fight, girl falls, girl dies... the end and they live happily ever after" well, i do admit i kinda like the cat fight scenes. almost had me going `you go girl!'.

ps: well, if you ask me, there was perhaps one little thing that this film was different from what one would have expected - that it was a white girl that was obsessed with and tried to break up an african-american family and not the other way round. this, perhaps, is something that would have never happened, even on film, say 5 years ago.
