time flies. today is my dad's death anniversary (by lunar calendar). there was supposed to be a family gathering of sorts to pay our respects to my dad to commemorate the day. but my bro decided that he would do the commemoration on 10 aug (gregorian calendar anniversary) given that he has to bring my mum for her medical appt. well, no choice i supposed.
nonetheless, i managed to pay a visit to the columbarium to pay my respects and do the needful.

ps: by right, the actual lunar calendar date is 10th day of the 7th lunar month. today is the 10th day of the 6th lunar month. but considering this year's lunar month has a leap 5th month, the 6th month is considered the 7th month instead. apparently, such a ruling to ignore the presence of a leap month applies only to anything that involves white affairs (matters pertaining to death).
