just a nonsensical thought during the week when i recalled how some people vehemently resisted homosexuality by saying how god created "adam and eve and not adam and steve". if there is a god and he had created the first two persons, he probably had to make a choice by taking the middle path and create 2 persons physically but build in genetically the potential for them to express themselves differently (mendel's theory comes to mind!). and from that perspective, to depict the two persons as "adam and eve" is probably only part of the story. perhaps it would be appropriate to refer to them as "madam and steve". and the permutations would probably include...

ok, i was just too free to think of such things... writing them out now, i feel a little stupid. as a person of science, i don't believe in a super being called "god" in the first place.
