sunglasses

i surprise myself by buying a pair of sunglasses yesterday. you see, it is so hard for me to be able to find sunglasses that i would consider nice. and so far in my life, i can literally count within the fingers of one hand the number of sunglasses i have had before...

anyway, there was a sale at the duty free shop for airline staff and i thought why not pay a visit to it. after all, all my colleagues were going gaga over the sale and a couple of them even bought more than a thousand dollars worth of stuff, not to mention the many more who visited the sale at least 2-3 times. and so, i decided to drop by yesterday. or actually, i dropped by cos my staff got so excited about it after seeing others buying bags and bags of it... and so, i went along, not that i had a choice cos she was like oooh, can we go before we eat? before everyone else's arrive?...  and so i went along. and guess what, there was already a crowd. by the time we got our stuff, the crowd had tripled and we had to squeeze our way out of that little airline staff duty free shop. 

well... back to the sunglasses. i walked into the small shop. there was a small display table with samples of the items on sale. i saw the sunglasses and i was like - aha, i must get this. yup, that kinda connection you feel when you see something that resonates with you.
