it's been slightly more than a month since i left my company. things seemed ok, or so i thought. the series of interviews i went with a particular company seemed on track. and i had been taking things easy and not feel too stressed up about it. until i got a call couple of days back from my headhunter relaying a message to me that the company has decided to stop hiring and to put off all decisions with regards hiring until jan 2013.

So what's your plan now? How long can you last without being employed?
If money isn't too much of an issue, then take a longer break to refresh yourself.
Could you do without a job if money was not an issue? As in, some people need to work to have a sense of worth and to feel engaged to sociey. It's not so much the money

ReplyDeletefinancially, things are a little tight but i supposed i can get through it. but for now, i am also increasing my intensity in my job search. can not fully rely on this company for now. never know what might happen given the 2 months lapse...
if it happens, it would be really good as i truly believe it is a good company. but it shit happens, at least i am not starting from scratch in jan 2013.

It could be a blessing in disguise. The company may be in deep trouble which the public is unaware of. Or this role may be a shitty job.
