feel good factor 2

the lesson at the university went very smoothly. superbly well in fact.

but it started off with a little shock. when i arrived, my lecturer told me he had collapsed 2 classes into one for my lesson and thus i had a larger than expected class size. it was rather unnerving when i learned of it. but what unnerved me more was the fact that the lecturers of both classes decided to sit in and listen through my lesson! to get such news before a lesson was indeed very destabilizing. and the fact that both taught me before, and one of them had the reputation of being very strict and no-nonsense, made me rather uneasy. but thankfully, things went well. and despite being the first time, the rapport betwwen the students and i was good. everyone warmed up to each other very quickly. and by the second half of the lesson, the atmosphere was rather good and lively. questions were fast and furious. and exchanges of thoughts were deep and engaging.

i enjoyed myself frankly.

:-)

ps: and at the end of the lesson, both lecturers told me they would like me to teach more modules... arghhh... heh heh... ok ok, positive thinking, opportunities to earn some extra cash! lol!
