it's been 4 days since sapphie went to the vet. as of today, her ear `bubble' has softened. and this is a very good sign. it means that the blood clot is slowly easing. hopefully, over the next week or so, the clot will fully deflate. also, her itch has decreased tremendously. and her skin is beginning to heal. from tomorrow, i am suppose to slowly wean her off the steriods to allow her body to slowly take over the function of self-protection.
