sometime back, the management consultancy people asked if i would consider working as an education administrator at religious outfits such as the kmspks temple. i said i was open to buddhist temples but not places of worships of other religions. this was becos i didn't want to be caught in situations where possible conflicts of interest between my own personal believes and those at work could arise. and we left it at that. and the topic of working as an administrator in kmspks temple came up again when i had dinner with alvin over the weekend. hmmm, should i? then again, would i? frankly, i did think of a few things, renumeration being one of them. and frankly, i am not sure how my views of the temple would change in the eventuality that i become an employee and not just a follower. then again, if i ever move along this route, it would probably mean the start of a new direction towards social work...
