move or stay?

do i try to do what i love, or try to love what i do?

something that i thought about when i asked myself if i should move on to the next job. many of my friends shared that i should love what i do (without knowing the context). but while i agree with them, it would also mean not opening myself out to new learning and new experiences.

and this little question by an ex-staff was most enlightening. he asked: do you want to be comfortably unhappy, or uncomfortably happy? and reflecting on his words, being uncomfortably happy is probably the best. being uncomfortable as there are new areas to learn, but happy given the people and the environment.

and i was really happy my ex-boss (the lady) called me and gave me some advice. she's the only one whom i have shared my thoughts and she suggested that i should find out more about the company before i decide. practical advice that i already know. but to hear it from her, it gave me a lot of assurance about moving ahead.
