i went for my second stage dental crowning for my upper molar yesterday and at the same time, i decided to proceed with the crowning of my lower molar. it was no less traumatic and sensing i was not ready for the pains, the dentist told me he would give me additional jabs. it will help me tide over the process and for some time after that, he said. and with that said, he proceeded with the procedure. and as he had said, it was not painful. in fact, i was so numbed, i couldn't even feel whether he was doing the top molar or the bottom molar.
the whole procedure last almost an hour plus and i walked out with a nice silver crown on my upper molar. i took a look at the silver crown after the whole process and it felt kinda weird. silver is certainly more durable but it reminded me of a cina pek (old china man)! (then again, i am not that young!) haha...
will have to return in a fortnights' time to fit the crown for the lower tooth.
:-)
