i gave him my proposal yesterday as promised. and his response after half a day was that i needed to create an impact in the first 2min but didn't give me any pointers about what this impact should look like and how to scope it. and he speculated how the different board members would react to my paper - not from a quality of thought angle but from nitty gritties like you should not use this word or that word, this person wants this but that person wants that, so you need to reconcile how to manage that.
haha... i was managing the quality of thought and flow and he was managing his bosses.
