it was a superbly hectic weekend. but a fulfilling one. on top of all the routines of taking care of mum (sunday was my domestic help's off day), writing of a huge proposal for my company (that my boss wanted), groom the dog, and the visits to my brother's place, etc i was also able to play host to a blogger friend who visited singapore over the weekend.
you see, diurnal sharks came over from east malaysia and i hosted him on saturday. had told mum i needed to work and ran off for the day. managed to bring him to the s.e.a. seaworld and the recently opened lee kong chain natural history museum. it was really a great eye opener for me to see the s.e.a. seaworld now that i didn't have my mum with me. thoroughly enjoyed the experience. as for the natural history museum, it was a really good homecoming for me. once i walked in, i felt totally at home. the place and all the exhibits brought me back to my uni days - the times when i went through all the different phylla, the anatomy, the taxonomy, the preparations of specimens for the herbarium, etc etc etc.
i was totally stretched and exhausted when weekend ended.
but i felt good that it was fulfilling.
:-)
