my neighbour is hokkien (ethnic group that originates from fujian province in china) (like me) and appreciates my cooking, which is predominantly traditional-hokkien- or peranakan-hokkien-based. he's a divorcee and lives alone in his unit (unless his girlfriend stays over, which is not very often). and so, whenever i cook anything special, i would make it a habit to pass some of it to him.
and that was exactly what i did today. i brought some of the glutinous rice i cooked over for him. as usual, he had left his kitchen door slightly opened. i could hear him preparing some food in his kitchen as i walked over. i peered in as i called out to him and... oops! he was standing there in the nude, preparing some food of course. my appearance caught him by surprise and he quickly ran in to put on a pair shorts before appearing again. heh heh... well, i was not too awkward about it and simply told him that that's what i would do if i were him. we had a good laugh over it.
heh... of cos, there's nothing sexual about it, just a very "man" thing. and i totally can appreciate it cos, as i said, i do the same when there is no one around at home.

Omg. Such an awkward scene. Luckily is a man, can't imagine if your neighbour is a woman! Hehehe
ReplyDeleteExactly... Then again if it's a woman, the likelihood of seeing her naked would be very much less right? Haha. But yeah, it's still the first time i see his butt after 16 years of being neighbours!
