have been taking the tamsulosin tablet for the last 2 weeks or so. and as far as i understand, this medication is supposed to help my urinary tract relax with the hope to facilitate the movement of the kidney stones. and i must say the effect is really one helluva interesting.
for a start, i feel rather heaty and dry, dehydrated, that is. my lips are cracked and i started having mouth ulcers again. rather painful and uncomfortable. but interestingly, i do not feel thirsty and must constantly remind myself to drink through the day. and this resulted in my heading to the toilet more often than usual.
secondly, i noted an increased in frequency in my visits to the toilet at night, especially before i fall asleep. and each time i do that, i would pee lots! i really wonder where all my piss come from! also, through the night, i would head to the toilet at least twice. so what this all meant was that i have bad nights almost nightly. and i end up feeling rather sleepy in the daytime.
and despite all these, i have not noticed any stones coming out...
doh!
