i peed blood in my urine again this morning.
well, there was no pain per se, just a slight uneasy feeling at the kidney-level (or probably lower). it was not unexpected and i went on with my daily routines of bringing my mum for breakfast, did our grocery shopping and so on... came home, went to the toilet and ta-da... red rusty looking urine. but ok, time to drown myself with water again.
i think i can expect more of this to come in the coming days cos the stone had started its movement, and as it continue to do so, it would scrape the interior of the urinary tract (hence the bloodied urine). and this is probably a good sign cos it means it is moving out of the system. if all goes well, i should be seeing a possible discharge of the stone before 2 jul.
otherwise, it would be the shock wave treatment to make sure it comes out.
Why wait so long for the shock treatment? Is it risky to wait so long?.. =/

ReplyDeletethe wait is ok la... usually, the preference is for the stone to come out naturally. but if it doesn't, then shock wave treatment is advocated as it is the safest. as to how fast the treatment, it really depends on the slot available.
i was asked if i could do it last week but as it was too sudden and i could not make adjustments to my plans, i decided to ask for one in early jul. so... in a way it is a blessing in disguise cos the stone has started moving. and thus, if all goes well, i will not need to go through the treatment after all.
