got a pleasant surprise yesterday. a really pleasant one!
you see, 2 weeks ago, i got a request from my ex-supervisor to do a sharing for a masters class that he would be teaching in the coming semester. i agreed as it was a topic that i am very familiar with. also, i felt honoured that my supervisor remembered me and thought it was nice of him to extend this invite.
and i got an email from him yesterday telling me that my sharing would be considered a formal lesson and that i would be paid $450 for the 3hr given to me! wow! totally did not see this coming! so nice of him right?!
