i was doing some grocery shopping earlier and a small boy (probably one year old or slightly more) walked up to me and called out loud at me. his loud, clear and ringing toned voice rang out: "ah gong! ah gong!"... i smiled at him, looked around, noticed there was no one, pretended not to know he was calling me and continued browsing the items on the shelf.
the boy's daddy hastily came up to him, held his hand and said, "no, no... no, this is not ah gong" and led him away. the little boy shook loose his daddy's hand and ran to the opposite end of the shelf, jumped in front of me, and once again called out loud "ah gong!"
aiyoh... cute boy no doubt, bright-eyed, chubby, have the i-want-to-pinch-your-cheek face! it was hard to get angry or even take offence with this little boy... i simply smiled and continued my way... looks like it was a case of confirmed, double confirmed ah gong for me lo!... hahaha!
