slept relatively early last nite and woke up earlier this morning when the sky was about to open up. it was cloudy and the light breeze that blew into the room was cold. i wondered if i should take a walk with the dog, or go for a run, or... on the other hand, i thought it would not be a good idea to go out. today is the first work day of the decade. there would be people rushing to work, people who got up late and rushing to catch their buses, mothers sending their kids to school, mothers anxious to get their children on time to their school buses, the roads would be crowded, la la la... it's the angel versus the devil kinda conversation that went through my head.
so, i decided i should take things easy till at least the hoohah of break of 4 jan passed by. i read the papers, i caught up with the current affairs in the internet, i cleared up the mess in the house, i took the dog for a walk, and i sat down to watch tv... hmmm, yup, sounds routine alright... but to me, it's refreshing to wake up earlier and smell the fresh air. and for that, it is a good enough start for me. jan 2010. the month where i had previously set as a target for me to intensify my job search efforts. and that is what i am gonna do. and to all of my friends and people out there, happy start to a new calender work/ school year!
