i recieved a call from hsbc earlier. this was how it went.
hsbc: hello, good morning, mr sim, i am so and so from hsbc. i call you to introduce to you a.... may i ask if it is convenient to talk to you now?... (quite a long introduction if i may say. but in short, she was trying to introduce me to a hsbc credit card).
me: ok.
hsbc: may i ask if you are earning more than fifty thousand per annum?
me: i am unemployed.
hsbc:ohokbye!
the response once i said i am umemployed was so bloody curt and so bloody fast (quite difficult to express in writing that i had to omit all the spaces between the words)! haha! and for a good while, i really enjoyed being unemployed.
hahaha!
ps: i totally dislike such tele-sales attempts. find it such a breach of my own privacy!
