this week is gonna be more interesting than i can imagine. went to visit my mum yesterday and was surprised to see my brother home. the next thing i knew, a girl walked out of the bedroom behind him and he promptly introduced me as "his good brother" to her. i really did not know how to respond when i heard him call me that. not after all the years of hostilities.
and then, he told me that he will be marrying her tomorrow.
well, have heard of her from my mum couple of days back but never did i imagine him to be at home waiting to introduce her to me. she's from china, more than half his age. needs to get married in order to stay in country. cannot speak english, and so on. and he went on and on about how he hope to be able to visit china soon and that we should go there as a family with my aunt and so on... all happened too fast for me to even truly absorb everything.
i guess i am happy for him. as long as he is happy.

maybe when he siad "hao ge ge" (or "hao ti ti", don't know who's older), he might have mixed up cantonese & mandarin.

BTW, yr family is getting more & more interesting. why is yr brother marrying some mainland chinese? & why have u never heard of her until so recently. Sounds like the "Wedding Banquest".

alamak jus, this i can so so cock sure lo... he is str8. i've never asked abt him and so, i am totally not aware of what's been happening. and well, i am just happy that he has kept me posted in the this matter and still treat me as a (-n elder) brother.
