dying happily

heard this in channelnewsasia earlier and i thought it was very meaningful:

"the best gift the dying can give to the living, the caregivers, is to die happily..."

or something along that line. and the person who said this also shared: "when she (his wife) died, we felt sad, but we did not grief. for we knew she had a good and meaningful life. and we all had given her all our love and she to us..."

so much truth in it.
