it's amazing how some words/ phrases came across as frivolous and cliche when i was young(er) but has in recent times meant so much to me.
couple of days back (on 26 dec to be exact), while taking a stroll along the esplanade after watching the wonderful performance by king kong jane, i was asked by a lady manning the new year celebrations booth to pen my wishes for the coming year (both on the ball as well as on the golden coins hanging along the sidewalk). and my first response was - do i need to pay? :-) and after some quick thoughts, i penned down `world peace'.
two simple words. but they really capture what i really hope for at this point in time. peace for all mankind. amongst people of all races, religion, sexuality, and so on. everyone living with each other, peacefully.
