restful

the two days of mc was indeed restful, despite the fact that i was working throughout... heh heh...

well, as i had mentioned, i really needed the rest and i could feel the flu welling up in me. so i headed to see the doctor first thing monday morning. the doctor took a look and said i needed the rest and asked if i wanted one or two days. hmmm, what an interesting question right? of cos, i asked for two.

so my monday was half spend at the pool and half at the shopping centre, strolling and clearing my mind as i clear my work email from my iphone. and for the second day, i decided to send my car for its regular servicing. i brought my laptop along and spend the whole day doing my work as i waited for my car servicing to be done. it was indeed a really productive day. i would not have been able to complete what i did if i were at work, given the preoccupations with interacting with people and solving people's issues...

so... yeah, i was on mc technically but at work almost throughout the mc period. but yes, it was restful. and most importantly, to be able to do good work without worrying about having my boss look over me was certainly very good.
