dinner w the sinseh

well, i went for my massage and acupuncture treatment as directed yesterday. and after the treatment, we went for dinner. it was an awkward dinner for me, considering the conversation was mostly done in either chinese or hokkien. haha...

anyway, he asked me quite a few really awkward questions during the dinner such as what my tattoo meant, whether i am married, etc. and added to that he volunteered quite a few details about himself too. i kept the conversation as neutral as possible and tried not to ask anything too personal. but seriously, some of the things he did made me feel rather uncomfortable. these include showing me his drawings and explaining that he likes to put into pictures songs that he learnt since young. and he even went on to sing a couple of verses for me! haha.. imagine this, two men in their 40s/ 50s having dinner and one singing away softly. weird right? 

other than that, i thought it was a nice dinner.
